Upgrading Power Supply Unit Or GPU?

Thread Starter
I am upgrading my power supply.

Specs:
HAF 912 Case
King-win ABT-650W
Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
GTX 460(might upgrade to GTX660)
AMD FX 8150 @ 4ghz
16gb G.Skill Sniper 1866mhz RAM
1x 60gb Corsair Force GT SSD(getting a 180gb tomorrow for birthday)
1x 1tb Shared Drive
1x 750gb DATA Drive
H80i Liquid CPU Cooler
3x rosewill 120mm blue led fans(getting red for my birthday)
Lite-on 20A1S DVD Drive
Windows 7 Pro 64bit SP1

The question is: If i get enough should i get the GTX660 and keep the PSU i have or should i get a better PSU and wait to upgrade my graphics card?

Is my power supply enough power for the 660?

Your Kingwin psu is a Super Flower design and should hold up well. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't power a 660 just fine.

First off, happy early birthday! The psu you have right now is enough to handle the 660. I was running my 7950 on a 600 watt psu and it handle fine.

So upgrade the gpu then psu later.

The PSU u have is pretty decent quality, and it can run even a GTX680 with no problems. Im running 2 overvolted-overclocked GTX580's and a overclocked i7 on only 100w more.

Your PSU should be fine.

GPU upgrade would be nice. And you should ditch that bulldozer when the next gen of AMD processors come out.

I went ahead and ordered the EVGA Geforce GTX 660 2gb GDDR5 Super-clocked Graphics Card.
I am waiting on a power-supply , tho.

So if my power-supply goes i still have like 170$ for one.

Heres what i ordered: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130826
i also got 2day shipping, so i paid 205$ out the door.

Your PSU is more than enough, I'm running a 7950 on a 500watt.
