Deus Ex:Human Revolution - Director's Cut (Wii U exclusive - definitive version)

That's right people, Wii U has a definitive version of Deus Ex:Human Revolution and all the features/improvements introduced into the Director's Cut version of the game won't come to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 nor PC. Wii U version is an graphically definitive version on console's...

PC version still better because you can get it cheaper via Steam sales, and have the convenience of playing it on a PC and not some unnecessary console no one wants. And play the whole series on one machine. And high resolution.

Probabally slightly upgraded shadows or lighting or slightly sharper textures.

Play it on PC at 1080p + dx11 effects is obviously still the best way to play the game.

I agree with most of your points/arguments event thought...

PC version is only better graphically and has available higher resolution while Wii U has improvements, changes and additions that are not available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC and will not be available. Even if improvements/changes/additions that become for other platforms available it will likely to come to PC only, but then they would need to rewrite for PC so much code and the patch would be several gigabytes and then you will also need new drivers after the update since the game would not work properly.

Wii U is underrated, its next generation in other terms and its in the same position as the original Wii so I really don't know what the fuss about the Wii U is since it will be like the Wii against Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Another problem that developers are ignoring because they want to move on or because they are don't know to properly code and give up or they are slackers and don't want to learn to code for Wii U while also EA abandoned Wii U since they wanted Origin on the Wii U and Nintendo said No so they *****ed so that's why they avoid Wii U and that's why Crysis 3 for the Wii U was canceled even thought it worked properly and better and had better graphics than the Xbox 360 version...

Or all of three since Wii U processor is far modern than Xbox 360's Xenos even thought both are PowerPC based also Wii U's GPU is 2-3 times stronger than Xbox 360's and PlayStation 3's GPU and Wii U's GPU is GPGPU so some tasks can be offloaded to a GPU and CPU just jump in when needed.

money drives motivation, nothing else.

The only new thing the Wii U brought was a touchscreen. Other than that, the hardware doesn't open up any new possibilities that wasn't already capable on the current gen systems. Sure it's may be a little more powerful, but it takes much more than just a little bit of extra power to fully flesh out a fresh new gaming experience.

The market apparently doesn't see anything great about the Wii U. It just kind of combined what we already have with the xbox and ps3, and what we already have with our tablet/cell phones. Anybody who wants to play bowling and other party games can just do that on the Wii......that audience doesn't care about the cutting edge

Wii U leap over Wii is comparable to Xbox 720/PlayStation 4 over Xbox 360/PlayStation 3...

Wii U is like the Wii in current generation console's and Wii U costs the same as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and offers more power, features, less power consumption and heat/TDP than both of current generation consoles while also its more advanced, Wii U's processor would destroy Xbox 360's at the same clock speed except pure SIMD.

I have a question, does CPU handles polygons?

Yes, it can handle vector-based calculations. Although it's not its main strength (simply put, a QX6800 is comparable to a 8400GS in terms of graphics capability).

It's nice developers are starting to roll AAA titles into the Wii U. It might be weaker than next gen consoles, but it is by no means slow, and plenty capable to run them at lowered detail levels.

I agree even thought Wii U's GPU is based on Radeon HD series, the estimation of Wii U's GPU power is comparable to Radeon HD 5670 even thought AMD does not produce 5xxx series for a few years so it must be a 6xxx series architecture while for CPU there isn't much information except its a tri core clocked at 1.24Ghz...

Anyway Wii was a capable machine with Quantum 3 engine:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxyCTENeznc (Grinder prototype - canceled)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0mxfx__6So
www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWRZ33evYMM

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Voltage_Software#Quantum3_engine

I hope High Voltage Software will make games for Wii U and since Wii U has improved Wii processor I hope they can do some wicked things on it... When I saw Conduit 2 and I was thinking, Half life 2 could be on the Wii using Quantum 3 engine just with no physics xD

The least they could do is patch the terrible boss fights on all platforms. Outsourcing them was a horrible idea.
