Amped Wireless 600mW (1.5 mi) WiFi range extender safe?

I was just browsing repeaters and noticed that Amped Wireless offers a 600mW Wifi-range extender (for your home) that advertises a range of up to 1.5 miles?! Sorry if this seems like a silly question, but that seems kind of... suspicious to have something outputting that many radio waves in the room adjacent to where I sleep. I can't see how that is healthy.

I'll dare to say it's safe. If you don't think it is, don't buy it. Run everything wired.

It's safe. wink.gif No worries there. Cellphone signals are way more of a "concern point" and billions of people are fine.

Amped Wireless is awesome and I have one of thier routers and I love it!

600mw wont hurt anything. We use some Ubiquiti Nanostation knockoffs that are 2000mw. Those are a little bit freaky, I must say.
