lol you find the g400 and mx awfull, did you see the razor mouses ? it look like a turd and it feel like a turd in your hand. if you loose in a game it s you not the mouse just stop finding yourself excuses, it s pathetic,.... when SC1 came out you didn't even had optical mouse and all was fine ,.......

Did you even read what I wrote? I said with my Microsoft Basic Optical I was WAY more accurate and fast than with the Logitech G400. Believe me it made such a difference OK and yes top Diamond/Master League is the top 3% of the players on the server so obviously I am not noob at SC II believe me you probably some bronze noob who doesn't understand.
i don't play sc II because it just not good enough for me , not fun anymore, i played enough to the first one and the second one is just the same , like most blibli new games.
Plus i can't even understand playing a GAME just to try to be the best or competitive gaming , these two words mean the opposite literally so it make no sens.
It s a GAME , you should play it like you enjoy it . if it s this way you like it , you like competition not video games.
You can set up more then enough point with setpoint II on the G400. if you loose that many place it s not the mouse , don't call people noob and use noob excuses . Adapting to other hardware is a skill , a player good only on his computer , isn't a skilled player , it just someone playing too much.

I can see how some people may like the G400 for FPS games... if you can get used to the no acceleration "perfect" sensor and like the shape and are a palm gripper. However I cannot see the G400 being good for RTS games... its too heavy and unwieldy you can't make fast circular movements.

I think the Razer Abyssus looks like a mouse for me. Lightweight, ambidextrous and comfortable with a reasonably good sensor. But to be honest I would rather wait for the release of the G100s.

Much prefer microsoft basic optical.

Yeah but like people said, that's merely subjective. For those who like its shape it's a great mouse with no sensor related issues what so ever (besides LOD maybe, but out of all the sensor related bullcrap u can get with mice, LOD is the least of your worries imo tongue.gif).

Tbh if you're going to make an objective list, you can't really comment on shapes all that much since that's purely down to preference. Though it's indeed pretty obvious with its fast tracking speed that it's geared more towards the FPS genre.

Again, this is all based on preference and familiarity. YOU can't but I can do fast and accurate full screen circles at 2560x1440 with my old G5, and even better with my current G9x which is wider then the G5/G400 with the "Wide Load" grip rolleyes.gif.

I took out the weights to lighten it and put some teflon feet on and its perfect for me and my play style. Also, I have long lanky hands so anything smaller then a G400 and I can't palm it comfortably. A claw gamer with small hands who plays low DPI may not like it, but again that's because of preference and play style and is no fault of the mouse.

Bashing a product so blatantly only because its not to your liking makes you sound very juvenile.

I can't believe that Logitech has only recently come to their senses and is releasing an updated version of the Logitech G1 which is actually good because it has a normal shape.

Because right now what does Logitech have... lets see G400 which is basically MX518 - extremely awkward to hold... literally my hands and arms are burning after using it gives me cramps so bad... it cuts of the circulation to my arm and then it feels numb. Also the buttons aren't large enough... if I palm the mouse the ends of my fingers are over the front... The grip isn't even that great... if your hands even have a bit of moisture you will find yourself having to grip the mouse quite hard to make sure your hands don't slip.

And then the Logitech G500 - lets see flawed sensor? It is toward the front of the mouse and it doesn't track properly on cloth pads. Again its absolutely huge and has way too much weight to it. It is literally a brick and lets face it what matters in a mouse is that its comfortable to use... you don't need a perfect sensor because its not like anyone is a 100% accurate... comfort is way more important than sensor... as long as its good enough to track properly.

If all of these sound like good things then there must be something wrong with your thinking because there are WAY better mice... MS Comfort 6000, MS basic optical, and even a HP 5 button comfort mouse, abyssus, DA are all are much much more comfortable than G400/G500.

Believe me this mouse (MS Comfort 6000, an ergonomic mouse) is WAY more comfortable than the G400 and tracks just as well, its also super lightweight. Just buy one and compare the the two. MS Comfort 6000 is roughly the same price as the G400. Yes its polling rate is locked at 125 Hz (not that it matters, it has no affect on gameplay whatsoever as 1000 Hz and 125 Hz a human can't tell the difference). But it is WAY more comfortable like I said.

I would get a Razer Deathadder since it feels nice... but its way overpriced ATM... £64.99 but it is extremely comfortable. The MS Comfort 6000 shares the DA shape... but doesn't have 1000 Hz ultra polling DPI switch etc (fixed 1000 DPI) but I don't consider that extra stuff neccessary as it won't improve your gameplay. (Unless you are a pro gamer) but a mouse that is uncomfortable to the point of causing you cramps in your hands WILL massively impact anyones gameplay.
