blue pixel on Dell U2312HM?

Hey guys!

Just got my new U2312HM monitor today, and it works great! There's just one teeny tiny BLUE pixel on the right side of the screen whenever I open up something with a sort of darker background (game, paint, etc.) It actually goes away when I move to white. Sorry, pictures are a a bit big.

on black BG
on overclock's BG color
on white mouse cursor

I'm new to monitors, so I was wondering if this is something I should be concerned about. It doesn't bother me too much, to be honest, but I want to know if there is a bigger problem that might arise and if I should have Dell send a replacement. From what I've gathered online, it seems like a stuck pixel as opposed to a dead one?

Thanks!

Yes its a stuck pixel, It is possible for it to go away, Watch a movie and see if it will unstick it.

And there isnt any more reason for concern, Usually the faults of a LCD screen are right off the bat and dont get any worse over time.

Don't forget too that since it's an UltraSharp monitor, the warranty will cover any dead/stuck pixels...you don't need a minimum number of defective pixels as with some other manufacturers. thumb.gif
