ASROCK 777 Extreme 6 cooling

I hope I am in the right place ..I have this motherboard, ASRock 777 Extreme 6, I am using it for a current build. It has two secondary cooling blocks connected by a bent tube that half circles around the CPU. Are these cooling blocks necessary? Could I remove them and will the board manage without them? They are seriously in the way of my layout. I guess it may be possible to integrate my water cooling loop into these possible hot spots without any issues..Thanks in advance.

Absolutely do not remove those, your motherboard will die. Those are for the chipset.

I had something pressing on the side of the heatsink on one of my motherboards (causing it not to make proper contact), and it overheated and broke.
