Normal SSD Read/write speeds?

Thread Starter
So I finally got myself a SSD! I got a corsair force GT 3 120gb and recently installed windows 7 on it. I botched one installation by not setting ACHI from the beginning and finally now I have everything working. I ran Aida64 benchmarks to test my read/write speeds and I am getting about 500 megs a second read and 450 megs a second write. That seems a little slow. Are those speeds normal or did I mess something up? Thanks guys.

That seems about right to me, i just got a samsung 840 pro 256gb, and my motherboard doesnt support ACHI so im only getting about half of what you are getting, so it sounds like your probably fine.

That seems to be within standard deviation.
