H110 swap for H100I?

Thread Starter
According to my order confirmation, I am due to receive my 900D any time now. A few weeks ago I bought an H110. I was planning to run a Push/Pull configuration but realized that there is not an SP140 fan. I figured since there were SP120's that there would be SP140's (unfortunately). My question is, should I be switching to an H100I in order to run the Push/Pull configuration with SP120's? Or, should I just stick with the H110 and hope that SP140's eventually come out? I am OCD about things matching and being the same company which is why I don't want to stray from Corsair (for this build anyway)
Thanks!

While it would be nice if a Corsair rep would answer, I think it would be fairly safe to assume SP140s are coming, after all they've started making 140mm AIOs, why not fans to go with it?

Keep the H110. Even with non-pressure fans it should still beat H100.

True, sometimes I find things that are completely logical don't end up happening:D I will just wait then! Thanks.

Just keep your setup! The only way to upgrade from the AIO is a kit/custom loop, if not that the only way you'll see a miniscule difference is getting some strong CFM/Static Pressure fans.

how much was the 900D?

I have the worst luck with corsair

I buy their 800D, they release 900D
I buy their m60, they release m65
I buy their H100, they release H100i, then H110
I buy their AX1200, they release AX1200i
I buy their Dominator GT, they release Dominator Platinum

all within 6 month. frown.giffrown.giffrown.giffrown.giffrown.giffrown.gif

Corsair if you are reading this I want free upgrades to ALL MY GEAR!

With this being my first Liquid cooling build the plan is AIO for now. I would like to switch to custom, I just don't know enough about the custom kits to buy and build for this rig. I will need to learn more about them before making that switch. I would love to mimic the setup that Corsair has for the 900D that they have on their site/ the video (non-CES one). That thing looks AMAZING.

349.99 plus $70 to ship. If UPS delivers and covers brokerage, the Case will become $630. If I can get a hold of a brokerage company to cut through the red tape it will be about $440 shipped and taxes in (Yay Canada...).

That's cheaper than I thought, I was expecting 399+

I know what I'm using for me next build.

Ya, I would hope you fill that 900D. I mean the case can has 5 rad mounts. H110 going to feel really lonely in that case.....Good Luck with it.
