Overclocking I have no idea. If I were to get a z77 board now it would be in no order:
I didn't mention the mvg because I don't need an matx board and I love to run dual gpus.
I like a dark kind of scheme to the board.
The offset does save a bit of power in the idle state, at 4.8Ghz 1.35V the difference was 40 watts less power used at idle, no difference under load.
So while I don't say offset is useless or dissuade people from using it it really doesn't make that much difference having the clock & voltage drop at idle, many motherboards support it now so it got more popular to use it.
I like to be able to look back at screenshots & see what what clcok & vcore I was running, so even on boards that do have an offset option I prefer fixed.
