Windows XP PRO (32bit &/OR/vs. 64bit) - Page 2

Well here are some results!

Who would've expected to receive their order on a Sunday? well anyways I tried out my noob skiils, and my temps are rather higher than I'd like. It is
idle: 45~50
load: 54~61
The core 1 is sometimes higher than 2 (at most 4). I have vcore at 1.184 and very unstable. I'd like to stay at 3.0~3.2 with stable temp maxing at 55. Right now, I have 2800 = 7*400MHz and 1:1 RAM ratio and 5/6/6/17...

I think I'll try the AS5 again for the HS tomorrow. OH !! Yeah my cpu fan is running under 1000 rpm! I have no clue why. And my motherboard has a system fan slot but my casefan's face doesn't match it. I need help getting it stabilized at 3.2. And I need sleep.

Before I pass out, here are some pics.

their really isnt any point installing 2 os on different hardrives.. i would stick to 32 bit as most programs are only 32 bit.. but if u wanna burn dvd's , edit ur vid sync on movies and stuff i'd go 64 bit, but personally i'd stick with 32

I've switched to 64-bit only and dumped my old xp pro, and i havent had any problems in months with it, so I would have to disagree with everyone saying the drivers are horrible as that has changed.

If you want to test games, I would strongly suggest FarCry, as that had good benchmark utilitys in it as i remember and i noticed a large differance between the 32 and 64 bit versions. Also you can download it for $10 I believe these days, or find it in bargin bins for less.

Cool. What about the cpu fan's low rpm? Isn't the cpu fan supposed to go above 1000 and 2000 when the temps go up? Mine doesn't for some reason. I need help.
