What does the rest of OCN find is a

Post what you think for any with the core/memory voltage and the brand of yours wink.gif

the average is around 1200 mhz. Under water just for bench 1300-1380~ is an extreme oc for a 7970.

For 24/7 you dont need anything over 1250 or 1300 without pushing too much volts

common - 1150
safe (???) - 1200-1250
extreme - 1250-1350
zyzz mode - 1350-1700
depends on what you mean by safe - 1.25v is safe for 24/7 use if you can keep you cooling down.

Oc the memory is beneficial. Its more about luck tho and temps. A good oc is around 1600-1700. I was lucky enough to one of my 7970 i hit 2000. But from my tests after 1700-1800 its less beneficial.

Nice, what mV you run on yours?
Im at 1600mV(stock) running 1750memory core , only 1045gpu core at 1180mV ( +0005 from stock )

You should hit 1100 core with 1.17

i have so many 7970's that i cant really tell you. One runs 1200 at 1.25 the other 1200 at 1.12 or less

Dont use OCCT. Imo you will never put that much load to your card even with folding/mining.Just loop 4-5 times the unigine valley or heaven

Doesn't that seem like saying "dont use ibt or prime95, youll never push that load on your cpu" tongue.gif ?
I think stable means stable, you can't be stable in Unigine and have errors in OCCT, that isn't a stable overclock
