good day everyone, im new / a noob here too, very nice to meet u all! firstly sory for my bad english =/
anyways just want to ask some rad advice from all the experts here. pls dont flame me i've tried to do some research cos i'm a major noob but unsuccessful in getting any info. i would like to know whether its possible to have 2 inlets and 1 outlet on a 360 fat rad in a series loop. i am currently asking this about a multi-port 360mm coolgate g2 fatty rad. this is it: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-002-CG
it has 4x G1/4" ports on "1 side" which i picked 1 port from each pair as inlet/outlet. it has 1x G1/4" on the "other end" of the rad which the box says is the fill/bleed port. i was just wondering is it ok to have 2 tubes coming in on the side with many g1/4" ports and the lone 1x g1/4" on the other side will become the 1x G1/4" outlet of the rad? im very sorry i hope i have kind of explained that ok.
i dont have parallel loops its just a very simple series loop. it goes like this: 270 photon res :: pmp450 d5 pump :: gtx 780 :: gtx 780 :: xspc ax480 rad :: swiftech cpu xl block :: mosfet round thingy vrm block????? (im so sorry i dont know what that's called!) :: coolgate g2 360 fatty rad :: back to xspc 270 res
i have read that if i only use 1 inlet on 1 side and use the fill port as outlet i will only use half the 360mm rad which is mounted on the roof of my switch 810, so could i maybe just before the 360 rad sort of "split" the tubing route using a T junction fitting and then connect new tubing to both sides of the T junction fitting (i'm sorry again i dont know what this fitting is called but i hav a few, and sometimes i saw people put a temp probe plug in them) then those 2 new tubes each connect to 1 of the 2 sets of ports on the side with 4x g1/4" side? in essence i'm putting 2 inlet tubes - 1 on inlet and 1 on (what's supposed to b) the outlet, and then i use the lone fill bleed port as my outlet? im soirry for my confusing description i really trying my best to describe =) the reason i want to do this is cos i jus wanna make my 810 a bit tidier and dont like to have to pull such a long tube across. i know there's probably better ways to do my loop but again, i'm a noob this is my 1st wc build so im super new to all this. btw i am using 1/2 id and 3/4 inch od. i hope i provided enough info for u experienced wc guys to understand my bad english and help me out on advice.
thanks alot i really appreciate any help! have a nice day! i hope i also provided enough info about my system. thanks!
