I dunno why I am even contemplating it but I was thinking of upgrading this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/First-FSM-270YV-LED-DP-HDMI-27inch-2560x1440-S-IPS-Monitor-Free-shipping-/221153437819?pt=Computer_Monitors&hash=item337dc5a87b for a 30 incher.
Is it worth it guys ? Also which is the best 30 incher in terms of build quality ?

Haven't had experience with that unit so I cannot comment. However the 30" Dell's are regarded as one of the best units. The price reflects it though!

Depends

imo if the resolution between the two monitors is the same, then its not really worth it.

i would go from 2560x1440 to 2560x1600 also the dells are too expensive for me ,I probably would buy a crossover 30inch.

Really not worth it just for the extra 160 lines IMHO. I don't know specifically about the Crossover, but most of the 30" panels besides the newest Dell are CCFL backlit (kind of old tech at this point and will put out some heat.) And personally I prefer the tighter pixel density on the 27"
