Update!

There was a lot going on in the past weeks:
I got a package in the mail:

The midplate is finished (only missed some holes for fan cables mad.gif but that doesn't matter, i have too many fan extensions biggrin.gif

Close up of the paint:

Test fitting:

Fans are mounted:

Testing again:

Some cable management:

I'm still waiting for my elite 355 i/o panel, then i can saw out a hole for the i/o panel. (which will be covered with an acryl or plexi plate)
I also ordered some sleeving, heatshrinks, extensions and fans.
The desk 'll have stock cooling till i got money again.

That's it for today!

I was bored so i've made this:

These are the legs now, the original thickness from the legs was 1,2cm. Now it's 10cm.

This one also houses the power cable (very nice and sleek to put it there, but i think i need an angled powercord.

Switches for the cold cathodes, maybe i'll change to LED later.

Side:

The other leg doesn't have anything in it because i don't know what to put in it.

Stay tuned for more updates! biggrin.gif

Update!

Today the mailman came with a fun little package

Second leg is finished, but needs some paint and bog

Leg 1 painted

Leg 2 not painted, it has the power extension cord in it.

More updates to come if the leg is painted, then i can start assembling it, but it'll still run on stock cooling because i don't have watercooling parts yet.

(oh how i hate my cellphone camera)

UPDATE! biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

I'm so happy that i've reached this stage today!

Legs fitted

Cable management:

Few hours of work to get the cables right

It's already dark!

Finally ON

Problems:
- Tray doesn't close good enough, cause the mouse is too large...
- Cables are a bit too messy
- Glue was empty, just when i wanted to glue the HDD standoffs
- Glass plate doesn't fit with the stock cooling, should go with WC

I ordered some stuff a few days ago, but they still aren't here, so i'll just post a list of things i ordered.
- 4 x alphacool 90° rotary fittings (they'll fit perfectly on my black acetal waterblock)
- 2 x mayhems pastel ice white (so i know i got enough cooling fluid for my loop)
- 1 x bitspower watertank z-multi 150 acetal, this one will be mounted in the front
- 1 x plastic L coupler.

So stupid that i forgot to order some tubing, but i sent them an email that they can change my order.
(hopefully i'll get that change done, otherwise i have to pay seperate shipping...)

My glass plate will be done next week, so i got enough time to make the inside of my desk dust free and decharge it from static electricity.
The sleeving from one of the Sata cables came loose, so i have to fix that too.
I also have my old HDD/chipset coolers wired to 5 volts and i spraypainted the sleeve black.
