Problem with my mic. Looking for a replacement maybe

Hi! I recently purchased the Zalman clip on mic and the quality is really bad on teamspeak. I saw a lot of reviews and such of the mic and they were mostly positive esp about the sound quality.
Mine is bad tho, my friends say it echoes in a bad way (doesn't sound like and echo effect) and the quality in general is low.

Could it be some hardware problem, broken mic or does the mic just suck? I got MSi z77a-g43 and i use on-board audio. My old fatal1ty gaming headset used to work fine.

If it is an issue with the mic I'm on market for a table microphone! It should preferably do noise canceling as my friends don't want to hear clicketyclack from my keyboard all the time.
Price range from 30-40€ to even 50€ if needed, i don't care if it is 3.5mm or USB, which ever is better.
I also looked trough the most recommended audio products thread, didn't find anything suitable

Thanks thumb.gif

this is one I have heard great things about, but they don't make it anymore. if you search around the web, there are still new ones around on eBay and other places

You could try the windows voice software and listen to your own voice. If it sound fine there, double check that it is set as the default device, and check the teamspeak settings that that is being used, not some ****ty webcam mic or something (happened to me once).

Also, I advise trying it out on another computer if you have access to one. I was having problems with my mic the other day, so I pulled out my laptop and sounded fine there. Then I figured out that the problem was the drivers to my sound card.

Good luck!
