Kill coil?

Hello,

I was searching through the threads here about kill coils and i noticed that someone mentioned that there was a difference between .999 silver and .9999 silver. Is there actually a difference in whether you put .999 silver or .9999 silver in your system? Also, I live in Montreal QC and was wondering if anyone know a reliable place (in the sense that they won't sell me like silver coated copper or something like that) to either buy it in the city or if not, anywhere that will sell and ship to me for a reasonable price. I looked at petrastechshop.com and the shipping costs me more than the item itself so I'll let that be a last resort option if possible.

Thanks for the help!

For water cooling purposes .999 silver is perfect. .9999 will not provide any more anti microbial protection than .999

Just in case you didn't the number refers to the pureness of the silver .999 is 99.9 percent and .9999 is 99.99 percent.

As for buying, you local jewelers should be able to provide you with .999 silver strips.

6.99, also 5.1% off for ocn, but might want to buy a few things to justify shipping.
Can’t tell you if there is a difference between .999 and .9999 though.
