So I am stuck under 1200 on the Unigine Heaven score. For some reason, when I run Furmark, I get a terrible score, like 1338 or something at 1080p while people with worse cards get much higher scores. However, they could be running crossfire or SLI. I think I am going to stop my OC on the GTX670 there. Does increasing the Core Voltage (mV) in MSI Afterburner help with OCing the card at all? When I adjust it, it does not seem to help. Right now I am at 107% power limit, +138 Core Clock, and +444 Memory Clock. Temps never get above 60 degrees C. Is this about the max I am going to be at with just one card?

Strange, because once I set the power limit below 122% with my OC (on sig) I get lower scores on all benchmarks, mine goes up to 125% power in vantage and crysis 3 (122% on precision X), if I set it @ 110% I get really lower scores, I wonder if the problem is with my card/settings or with yours smile.gif

P.S My voltage is stock.
Edit: My card's max temp is 86c with my OC in crysis 3 (ambient 23c) which is fine for me as my stock cooler is not stock 680's like your 670's FTW, I don't want to touch furmark though LOL tongue.gif

Kind of odd that if you up the power target, it crashes? The way i understand that control is to limit how much power the card is allowed to consume. If power consumption goes about that, it starts downclocking things to keep it under the limit. I think if you card crashes just by upping the power target, what that really means might be that the clock settings you have dialed in are not stable. And throttling due to exceeding the limit is preventing it from running at the unstable rates.

> +138 Core Clock, and +444 Memory Clock

Those are pretty sizable offsets, especitally the core. I think your FTW card would be running at a full boost somewhere north 1300Mhz with that offset on core. When you run the bench, what is the GPU clock rate you actually get, and is it a flat line or does it bounce up and down? From what you're describing, my guess is that your clocks and voltage are jiggling around to keep power usage down. I get better results when things are running flat out without bouncing around.

For comparison, I've got the EVGA 670 FTW 2gig card (i think the 2g cards have faster mem). Just ran the Heaven3 bench max'd out at 1080p with my everyday OC (125% +95 +325).
power usage topped out at 112%
gpu clock flat and level at 1267
mem clock flat and level at 3420
voltage is lfat and level at 1.175
temp topped out at 62
FPS: 50.6
Scores: 1276
Min FPS: 29.4
Max FPS: 129.1
