AM2 X2 4200+ Temps

These are the temps of my new computer...

I just put the Heatsink on December 5, Tuesday night, and supposably the MX-1 takes about 200 hours to set so it cools properly (it's only been about 100 hours), but do these temps seem a little high???

Idle before test:

100% Load on both cores:

Idle after test:

Do you guys think this might be a little high even if the thermal paste hasn't set???

It's an Windsor X2 4200+ (65W edition) and my cooler is a Artic Cooling 64 Freezer Pro... As soon as I took my side panel off during the test it dropped from 48C to 45C, so I know I need to put a fan of two in for better airflow, but am I going to hurt anything if I OC...

What are safe temps to use a X2 4200 in without hurting the life at all...

Edit:

Now I have got it to run a lot cooler, it's been past the 200 hours of cure time and I have my computer out of my desk and in the open (biggest factor) and now I run about 30C-33C idle and 40C-42C load...

idle temps can vary so much from computer to computer. A lot of factors including case air flow, outside ambient temp, other components, can factor a computers idle temp. Granted those temps aren't the best, but they are well within the thermal limit of AMD. As long as you don't go above 50C, you'll never have a problem with it.

Well I'm sure CWELL1337 got his X2 4000 to like 30C idle when it was OC'd and he had a Artic Cooling 64 Pro...

I live in Ohio and it's cold cold cold out, and my furnace isn't runing to much, so it's not that hot inside either... I'm sure I need more fans, and I'll probably put some AS5 on and re-orientate my cooler because the way it's on now is a little funky...

I'll take pics in a second

Edit:
Towards back:

From Above:

Notice in this one, the IHS is visibly not completely under the heatsink:

Notice in this one, the CPU heatsink is touching the Northbridge heat pipe:

Case on side, see I can add 120mm in VGA vent, and maybe 80mm in CPU vent:

Another shot of case:

I can also put a 120mm in front of case...

Thoose pics are all thumbnails, click to enlarge...
