I just upgraded my system from an asrock e3g3 with a 2500k at 4.5ghz to a sabertooth z77 with 3770k at 4.7ghz. Fresh install of windows and all my benchmark scores have dropped. 3dmark11 was around 17300 and now 15900, valley dropped by 400pts. My 680s are running at 1228, both usage is jumping from 80-95% during benchmarks. Not sure why never hitting 100%. I have tried a couple different drivers. Any ideas? Because I would have thought my scores should have increased wink.gif Cheers.

Update bios for one.. check the QP link? I am not really sure on intel systems, as i am an AMD user myself. Try disable hyperthreading, try HPET on /off make sure its in the right "mode" ie 32bit or 64bit, try the latest intel inf update utility for your board, and try running it with the /overall or - overall flag. not sure which one.

Bios was updated, installed all drivers, in right order, etc. Ended up reformatting few hours ago and solved my problem. Obs something got boinked in the first install. Thanks for the reply!

Did you end up seeing the improvements you expected? Just wondering how much you'd gain with that frequency.

I didn't really know what to expect but the improvements in benchmarks are not overly great. But I have been doing some video editing and I do notice quite a bit of difference there!
