Cable has problems - depends on how you hold, what sens you use and how you move the mouse, it bends too much where the cable enters the mouse. I got only few disonnects and my cable management on desk is fine.
I've had my G400 for a while with zero problems, I doubt it would actually break on its own if you treat it with respect and love! I'm not even sure how you could "bend too much where the cable enters the mouse"?

Also, Logitech will replace the mouse anyway if it happens to break so I can't think of that as a dealbreaker in any way. I'm not even sure why they bother with the warranty when everybody still shies away from the product after somebody mentioning such a relatively small problem, as if you wouldn't get a replacement easily if something happens.

I agree with the G400/G700 if you can get them in your price range.
Rat 3 has a 3090 and is a lot lighter.

Thanks for everyone's response and suggestions.

I decided to go to a local electronics store and they had 2 of the 3 mice I was looking for. They also had the Logitech G400. Due to Logitech's awesome Customer Support and their products' quality I decided to go with the G400.

It's an awesome mouse. It's perfect for my palm grip and the quality is top notch. Drawing the line, I would like to say I'm happy with my acquisition and looking forward to gaming with my new G400.

Did I mention it was on sale as well? Yep, all that for 20% off.

Thank you for your responses again.

If you're planning to use the lower sensitivities, the non "s" version would be fine.

Has anyone noticed a difference between the newest G400 (s; 4,000 C.P.I.) and the second newest (3,600 C.P.I.) regarding the lower sensitivities?

I am loving my Logitech g600; it is a great mouse for MMO players. If you don't want all of those buttons, then the Steel Series Sensei is a great mouse. For more of a claw grip, the Func MS 3 is a good choice, as well. I would stay away from RAT mice; terrible quality control that leads to them failing after 6 months or so.
