I recommend this... ASUS PA248Q thumb.gif ...Just bought it from TigerDirect yesterday evening & it's real nice biggrin.gif Enjoying gaming on it (so far I have not experienced any ghosting). I also use it for work applications (autocad, photoshop, & 3D rendering).

The following links below had convinced me to buy it...

Thread Starter
I was able to find the FS-2333 from the distributor in USA from http://tritechgraphics.com/products/eizo-lcd-displays/foris-fs-2333-bk-23-wide-screen there are featured on Eizo website.

I hope it was a good move.

If they are featured on the Eizo website then it's a safe bet, you ordered it then? biggrin.gif

Based on this video below, the Eizo FS2333 appears to be able to handle the business thumb.gif
I think you made a good choice but if you want another option to consider, don't ignore the ASUS PA248Q.

Yeah, I have the FS2333. I ******* love it. Colors are amazing, 1000000x better than my roommate's 24" 120hz BenQ (the newest model).

I bought mine from www.colormall.com

But it seems to be more expensive than the website listed before me.

Also, my eyes are really horribly sensitive, and LED-backlit monitors (which the FS2333 is) hurts my eyes, leading to easy strain, leading to horrible headaches. This monitor has a really nice pre-built paper mode that reduces my eyestrain a lot so I really love this feature.

I do think I overpaid a bit for mine $460 with taxes, since I bought it from a CA-based company while living here in California.

I use a custom preset, I made a post a while ago about the numbers. I'm sure you can find it if you look through my posts (there aren't many anyways).

Anyways, the IPS panel is superb, colors are ******* gorgeous, everything is crystal clear, I have ZERO BACKLIGHT BLEEDING (not sure whether other FS2333 have slight bleeding, but thankfully I don't). However being familiar with Eizo's quality control historically I would think you'd be rather safe from things like dead pixels and backlight bleeding.

Let me know if there is something you want to know, I'd be happy to provide my opinions.

About games, I play Dota 2 competitively. And some other basic stuff, for fun. RPGs, MMOs, etc. No FPS for me though, can't help you in that regard. Oh, I hate the "Smart" functions. And the prebuilt "Cinema" and "Gaming" modes are ******* horrible. HORRIBLE.

so ....... your judgment is not trusted
if you are not an exacting shooter gamer you cant say if a monitor is good or not.

"And i don't really play many FPS online besides the occasional TF2."

That's what the OP said.

So I gave my input based on the LACK of FPS games that I play, which amounts to exactly zero. =)

My experience says, "if you don't give a **** about FPS games, then this monitor looks damn good in those OTHER games!!!"

occasional gamers can dont notice many things.
some match at TF2 is not sufficient to say that FS2333 is so good for all games like FPS or Racing games.
