Need help installing Rosewill wifi adapter to EVGA x58

Thread Starter
For some reason I can't get this card to work. I have the EVGA X58 FTW3 motherboard and I currently don't have a way to connect directly to an internet modem so I have to use wifi. I went to ribbit computers and bought this PCI-E card, a Rosewill Wireless-N RNX-N150PCe. I'm running a GTX 460 on my board, and had to move it to the second slot because the x1 slot was covered up when the 460 was in the first. I shut it down put the 460 on the second x8 slot, then put the wifi card in the x1 slot above it. The 460 still works in the second slot, but the wifi card is not getting any power. I connected it and screwed it in. I ran the setup disc that came with it and it says that it can't find the device or the device was ejected.

What do I do? frown.gif

First, this may seem stupid, but make sure it is connected properly. If it is, have you ever used the x1 slot? If not, do you have anything else you can plug into it and test? What power supply are you using?
