Format

Im probably posting this in the wrong section ... but couldent find the right one.

Anyway, I dont know If I should format my disk or not. My computer is goin to have two years In July since its "birth" and I havent formatted it since.
It works well and everything but sometimes just takes alot of time to boot and "wake up". Some simple operations become laggy at some points. Some programs freeze etc. It doesent happen often, and I dont really take it in mind, but If a format would help it work faster i'll take that in mind. Some people are suprised that I havent formatted it for so long couse they do it quiet often.

So, should I? :d

It could help, but before you resort to that...

Is your computer protected? When's the last time you ran your anti-virus?
Do you use CCleaner?
Are you running off an SSD?

Computers generally become infected and/or loaded with a whole lot of crap over time. Before you format, see if you can lessen all of the garbage and get your computer up to acceptable running speed for you.

Always have my Antivirus on. Eset which I have actually paid for. I use CCleaner quiet often, just to get rid of unwanted files etc. And no, i dont run an SSD.
