i wouldnt buy that Agility 3, go for a Crucial M4. If u can get a 660 Ti on sale they are a decent upgrade for the price.
I would switch the motherboard to the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H, switch the memory to some Corsair Vengence Blue 8GB 1600MHz, the SSD to the Samsung 840 Series 120GB, and switch the case to the Coolermaster HAF 912
post #4 of 21
Antec 300 is overpriced and rather featureless. No cable management either, don't get it!
The CX 600 is not a very good PSU.
Consider stepping up to the Agility 4? A lot of other SSD's in the low $100's (at that capacity) that are better.

I like the memory, cpu, mobo, cooler, and vid card is fine but we don't know what the rig Is for exactly.

Tempest 410 $60

Tempest 410 Window $80

HAF 912 $60 (USB 2.0 Front though)

NZXT m59 $57 Shipped. (same, USB 2.0 Front)

Among others...

AS for PSU, don't skimp!

Capstone 450 $76 Shipped.

The ext4 and ext6 are known to misreport voltage in software, and in turn you can overvolt your chip. Its not an issue really if you are going for a modest overclock, stay under1.4V and you should be fine, otherwise you will need a DMM to check voltage. Overall I would buy the board again, but only because I got it on a deal with microcenter for $80.00, but if I had to pay full price I would go for one of many others in that price range.

Try to see if you can find a used 2500K for cheap, then spend more on a GPU.

You really dont need that much power with a GTX 660 a good well made 550 watts PSU is what you would look at hell you dont even need that much

Ya, I was looking at the m4 and wondering if the ti price jump was worth it.

IMHO, take a look at the Corsair 300r, good deal for the money I think. As mentioned above, I would also go for the the Gigabyte UD3H as a matter of preference, although there are quite a few ASrock fans about too. As for the video card, the ATI's seem to be in popular majority for the time being thanks to better price/performance, if you could possibly swing just a little more money, the Tahiti based 7870 looks to be a great deal!
