I am guessing you are talking about the widescreen one. I have it, what do you want to know? Also what resolution are you talking about?

Let me be honest: I hate Acer monitors. I've used 3 of them both expensive and cheap.

The quality is not amazing on them, nor are they über bad, but they definely are in the low end.

I can only advice to stay away from Acer.

That might be your experience, but from mine. It is a fantastic monitor, and looks better then the Samsung 22"

Wel some people say the resolution isnt supported by many games.

Other people say 22" widescreen monitors are crap.

How do old games look on this screen? Are they stretched to fit the screen or what?

Widescreen makes you see more, like CSS, for example, a terroist is standing on the edge of your widescreen monitor, but with normal size one, you can't see that terroist, only on new games. But anyway, I like Acer monitors.

No, as long as the game can do WS res, it looks great. and if the game doesn't support it natively, there are 'hacks' to make them.

Bought one in Sep and I have been very happy with it. Bought another one on the weekend so I can run dual screens and I am shocked that they look like two different monitors. The new one is almost too bright but if I drop the brightness below 95% it emits a loud buzzing noise. The monitor has an Auto settings feature which I now realize does not work on the original one I purchased. On the newer monitor, all 'auto' settings except the graphics setting causes the monitor to emit a 'buzzing sound'. To avoid the 'buzzing sound' I have brightness on 100 which hurts my eyes.

Just to set things straight, I am running these both on an Apple Mac Pro with the monitors reset to factory default and have switched the cables and the DVI ports to make sure the problem wasn't upstream of the monitors. For comparison, I am running the graphics card in mirror mode and at 1680 x 1050 resolution

I cannot adjust either monitor to match the other.

My disappointment stems form the fact that two monitors that are identical models look and behave totally different compared to each other and they both appear to have inherent faults.

Not a great start for Acer in this camp.

I love mine. As far as I know Acer, Samsung and ViewSonic all use the same panels for their 22" monitors. The difference is in the stand and extras. If you don't need a stand with swivel or portrait support, and are on a budget, I highly recommend this monitor.
