Looking for a new mouse.

Hey,

I am currently using the Razer Imperator, and ever since I installed Windows 8 the mouse has been double left clicking (unintentionally) when I click it once. When I also hold down the mouse button it stops registering, I have no clue if this is a software or hardware problem, but since this keep occurring and the mouse is about 2-3 years old... I'm going to get a new mouse. (The mouse I am using now is not the 2012 edition).

I have been looking at the Roccat Kone XTD / Isku FX, Razer Imperator 2012, Logitech G9X, Steel Series Sensei / Xai

The mouse I have been looking at all sort of have the same shape as my current mouse.

PS. I do not like the Logitech / Corsair series mouse. (I have used them at friends houses and I do not like the erganomics)

I would go with the Steelseries Xai, great build quality afaik. I have also heard that zowie mice are nice and affordable for the features that they have. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826876016

Good luck!

Do not buy Roccat. Crappy sensors on most mice (except for optical ones).

Steelseries might be a good option if you are looking to switch from Razer.

Roccat, Steelseries and even Razer share sensor hardware from the same manufacturer(s).

Ok guys, thanks for the advice, I just looked at the M95 and it looks very nice, I play league of legends and I could definitely import the mouse buttons on the side of the mouse to my playstyle. Have you guys used the M95? or read anything about it?

What I have seen from a couple reviews it looks like a great mouse.

I would believe that should suit you nicely. Probably a better build quality than Razer's Naga Hex, but idk about the software that you'd use to set it up.

Apparently, on the review that was release about 2 days ago (LinusTechTips Corsair M95 unboxing) Corsair released new mouse software.
