Kaiser to me is the ultimate conquest map in the game especially when set to run max flags, the only downside is the sunlight capping flags on foot from the RU side is blinding.

Salaban has lots of ground vehicles?
It has like 1 tank per team, 1 apc per team, then a couple motorbikes + 1-2 jet and a heli.

And its the worst map in endgame DLC by far. Everyone camps in the oil drill facility whatever it is.

Best maps are aftermath.

Salaban being the worst map is your opinion which you are entitled to. Secondly you have either not played it very much or have no clue what you are talking about, each team starts with one tank and one apc but you are aware that the flags have vehicles also? when captured, at least 2 spawn tanks then we have the IFV/APC airdrop? surely you must know this as you give such a qualified opinion? Regards camping in the oil filtration then it is the other teams job to clear them out if they control that flag, not exactly rocket science.

Aftermath in my opinion is ok, i enjoy epicentre when feel like an aek mission and had some good games on markaz in the tank but don`t care much for the other 2, aftermath has a lot of very unbalanced base abuse games, as do many others though

While I haven't play a lot on the End Game Maps, I tend to agree with your assessment, @Ghost12.

I've mostly played CTF on Flats and it wasn't really that much fun for me. I like Kaiser and Salaban (or is it Sabalan) because, again for me, it seems like there are number of side routes to flags (you know: through and behind terrain, containers, etc).

I haven't really played the Aftermath maps, maybe a map or two and a game mode or two. I've played none of the Close Quarters maps. And very little of the Armored Shield maps; I'm not a vehicle person (yet) and so I'm a little nervous playing on those maps.

And of course the Vanilla maps and B2K maps, those are the majority of the maps.

I tend to think that's a strength of BF3: Depending on what kind of game you want to play, there's sure to be a map you'll like; some maps play better with some game modes.

But that's just my 2 cents...

I agree mostly with Ghost's assessment, but riverside can be fun on low player count servers.

This for me is what makes bf3 stand out from the genre. There is something for everyone, some never leave the canals tdm and cq, some never leave vehicles, some never leave conquest. The variety is pretty large. I love large conquest personally and i go through phases of maps. I have been playing a lot of vanilla lately due to populating the ocn server. @Insanity you should really try some Ak, i have spent many hours in tank destroyers and they are my favourite vehicle on the game on armoured shield. Close quarters are really nice maps but for me spoilt by the player base unless can find a decent server, Aftermath is a mixed bag for me, epicentre is the ideal infantry map in the whole game in my opinion but you will be hard pressed to find a server not dominated by a lvl100 medic train so helps to play as a squad.
