Heys guys i picked up a old custom build for 10 bucks at a yard sale. To my surprise it worked and is oc'able from the bios. The mobo is a ECS 741GX-M cpu is a Athlon XP "2100+ at 133mhz" Ive managed to get stable at 166 MHz and cpu-z now shows its a a xp 2700+. I don't wanna risk going any higher till I posted and seen whats what with this mobo. Has anyone else used it and how high did you get your XP too?

Here is its specs.

Mobo ECS 741GX-M
CPU Athlon XP 2100+ OC'ed to XP 2700+ @ 2161.58 Bus - 166.28 Rated FSB 332.54 MP X 13 "changed freq in bios from 133 to 166."
GPU Geforce 4 MX 400 64mb
HDD WD 300GB and a WD 75gb
RAM DDR 333 1gb
Media Liteon dual layer dvd burner, HP dvdrw drive.
Case Clear blue side with dual multi color lite up fans.

Not bad for 10 bucks I think?? I wanna push it to its working limits just to see what it can do and be functional. But im hopeing someone has used this mobo and or has general exp with the xp cpu. Thanks a lot for any help/advice.

FREQ TEST so far as follows,

166 = 2168.58ghz

170 = 2213.32ghz

172 = 2239.14ghz

175 = system rebooted automatically.

Loaded windows @ 180 but got a BSOD b4 I could even open cpu-z.
