New 30" LED 2560x1600. Any thoughts?

I'm in the market for a 1440p/1600p monitor. I stumbled upon a 30" LED 2560x1600p S-IPS monitor. There's no annoying characters on the bezel and it's LED!

Good seller, I'm sure it'd get to you safely, I bought my old 1440p Catleap from him. Personally I feel it looks hideous, but whatever floats your boat i suppose. It's quite a bit more expensive than a 1440p monitor, are you smitten by 1600p or would you be willing to make the minor downgrade?

Edit: HOLY COW prices have shot up. I bought my catleap Q270 a few months back for $300... Now, they're nearing 700!

It is a bit more expensive but I'm sure it looks a bit bigger as well. I was also looking into a new QNIX/X-Star 27" 1440p PLS panel.

Another glossy Korean monitor... at least it's 16:10 instead of 16:9.

You can pretty much disregard my statement on expense, I wasn't aware at how much prices had inflated. It looks like a great buy, if you have the budget I say go for it! High res monitors are a dream to work with, but for gaming I like my 120hz surround thumb.gif

I'm tempted... I have a Monoprice 30 right now, but I would much rather have an LED backlight.

Bought one, I'll be sure and compare it to my monoprice 30 for you guys.
