Logitech G400 - how durable is it?

So if this mouse was to undergo a 'stress test' say it was dropped from a height of 1m 100 times - would you still expect it to track and work perfectly?

It does look and feel like a very sturdy mouse. Even though I personally don't like the G400 (for personal reasons) there is a deal at PCWorld its now £22.99 so I thought I might buy it.

I have heard that the G400 is nearly indestructible - you can smash and pound it all you want and the mouse will still track as new and remain intact. Is this true?

I want to test how durable the mouse is... so far I managed to smash it against the wall by throwing the G400 and pound it on my mouse mat about 20 times - still working perfectly.

You are an interesting character.

I've heard the shell itself is quite durable though. Might withstand a drop quite few times. Like to see the results.

EDIT: Are you per chance from Esreality?

Pretty much, but the cable had some changes compared to the MX518 and it seems to be less durable so if u have a broken or spare MX518 with a intact cable lying around, don't get rid of it.

So, let me get this straight... you already bought one, but returned it as you didn't like the shape (as you have pretty much said that in every post you have made), but now you want to buy it again just to test its durability? Why?
