No no. I did not see the 650 watt PSU. At the time of my post, I thought I was the first replyer.
The only reason I recommend a 850 watt or even sometimes a 1000 watt PSU over 650 watts and otherwise is because I feel like that should be the last PSU anyone needs for a LONGGGGGGG time.
IF THE OP HAS THE MONEY AND IT IS NOT A LARGE JUMP OVER A BASIC PSU, I think that having the complete and total upgrade freedom of having a 850w or above is very important.
For instance, what if in the future the OP wants dual GTX990s (hypothetical GPU of course) and they draw 800 watts of power (doubtful, but who knows). Instead of the OP having to buy another PSU when that time comes, he will already have the PSU he needs now.
That alone is the ONLY reason I think anyone needs over 650 watts with a basic setup.
