Converting 775 cooler to AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+ cooler

Today I have bought a second hand old but nice Pentium Cooler for 0,5 Euros :

The part where the heatsink touches the cpu is this :

I have two AM/2+/3/3+ socket heatsinks, both 80x80mm , this new heatsink admits a 120 one, and the 80mm ones are noisy, the use of the PC is as a NAS and I don´t like the sound, maybe a way to adapt it with some modding? :

I hope to get some help from masters of modding

To build an adapter would be a bit of a pain.... You have to basically cut 2 pieces of wood or something into a rectangle, then drill out the hole patterns to match the AM2 retainer, then drill holes in it for the LGA775 mount. You'd remove the original retainer (plastic thing on top of mobo) off of the motherboard completely.

for reference, here is what the professional version of what you are asking to do looks like:

I've been using it for years to adapt an LGA775 water block for use on an AM3+ motherboard.

Sorry but ***, I have made a mistake, it´s an old pentium Cooler, not socket 775, the metal piece that touches the cpu doesn´t have any kind of mount
