FX 8 cores are power hungry, and an 8 phase VRM is definitely preferrable.

Yeah, i'm probably getting the ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 somewhere this summer. I really want to overclock this bulldozer some more, without the vrm's overheating smile.gif

Good choice. Mine has been awesome and it's handled mine with no problem. I've been as high as 1.49V on this 8150 and the board has handled it with no problems. My H100 on the other hand, not so much. It's my limiting factor.

Will the H100i a good choice then? I have the 8120 myself. What do you think i'm able to achieve with that board?
