Yeah, I believe it is. (plus the old Pentium D extremes and so on)

Don't use NTune. Get into the BIOS, and look for FSB, or CPU frequency or something like that. Then, increase that manually. I'd start with like 300MHz and see what happens.

Again, lock those PCI-E busses!!!

And you might want to put your RAM down to DDR2 533 speeds (1:1 with CPU)

fine... i drop ntune... when i go into my bios i cannot find anything that affects FSB... the only thing i see are SLi-memory configs and memory timing changes that i can make. i dont see anywhere on there an option or a hypertext that i can select and thus change the fsb up or down? what does yours look like?

Ok... some issues first:

1) did you build this rig yourself, or is this a pre-build like a Dell or HP or something.

2) check your mobo manual if you can find the options you need to overclock. You might need to set something to manual to show the CPU frequency and so on.

you cpu is hardl****ed at a 6-9x multiplier. ntune isn't going to change that. I'm assuming ntune doesn't read this and instead assumes that you can get a higher multiplier even though you can't. again though this is just an assumption
