Hey there guys. I was just trying to burn a DVD. And 2 minutes in the dvd drive starting going off with a clicking noise non stop. Stop the burning process. Turn the computer off. Turn back on the slicking sound is still there. Opened up the computer and took out the sata to dvd cable and turn the computer back on. Theere is no more sound. So its the dvd drive. So is it broke . do i need a new one or is it fixable? thanks

If it is broke, don't bother to fix it, they're cheap. Try to burn the dvd again,if it does the same thing then it's broke.

Seconded. They're +/- $15. Toss it in the bin and get a new one.
