Sufficient PSU (Limited Budget)

Thread Starter
OK, so I'm building a PC for a friend using my spare parts. All I need is a PSU, but i only have an old Channel Well 300w lying around, and i know it is insufficient to run the setup below. I suspect at least 400-450w is required. I need a recommendation for a PSU that will be stable but one that will cost less than $50. (I know that you can't skimp on a PSU but try your best )

Here it is:
Intel D915PBL Mobo
Pentium 4 550 LGA775 3.4ghz
Corsair ValueSelect 1GB (512x2) DDR2
ATI Radeon x700PRO PCIe
Western Digital Caviar SE WD800JB 80GB
LG CD-ROM
Antec SLK1650 Case

I think a simple 400W can run that rig fine, even when OCed.

Heres two nice ones for the price:

Antec TruePowerII 430W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103928

Thermaltake 430W (recommended)http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817153023

I normally don't recommend Thermaltake PSUs but that one seems the best for the price... also has 900+ reviews lol.

HIPRO has been around a long time, one of these will be on it's way soon for a friend who is limited in funds. The specs are good w/ 2x 20a 12v+ rails, 20/24 1 PCIe power, multi SATA HD and the square 4 pin.

Patience on those BUMPs please, 24 houre rule!
