Are you implying i'm making this up? Why would i bother. I can tell you i sold a 670 for stuttering issues and went amd and was very happy with a single 7970. However the crossfire performance has been a waste of cash unless i'm doing something wrong. What is the latest controversy. Please do reply as your accusations are ridiculous.

I have removed the old drivers then ran driver sweeper in safe mode and re installed 13.3 beta , re enabled eyefinity and crossfire, just about to try it out now. Fingers crossed.

Defensive are we? Look, if you really are susceptible to microstutter then you are just out of luck. AMD has admitted to having frame time issues in CF and the entire computing world has been storming over it for the past 4 months. They are working on a driver fix that will be available sometime in the summer so you can either wait til then or go back to Nvidia. Up to you...

Can i ask you. The game is choppy or you can see a bit microstuttering?

Well if "the entire computing world has been storming over it" for the past 4 months why is it so unbelievable that i could be facing this issue as well??? I'm not defensive i'm annoyed that you would try and hi jack a thread where people are trying to help me solve a issue im having trouble with.

I haven't had a chance to see if re installing in that way has helped as i realised i needed to go back into the registry to disable ULPS again, about to try right now. Thanks to everyone that has tried to help.

If you are susceptible to microstutter there is no help to be had. Its a driver issue that must be resolved by AMD. Judging by your previous posts I'd say that you need to stay away from any dual card setups as stutter seems to affect you more than most. I ran dual 7970's for over a year and never noticed any stutter out of mine. Perhaps a single Titan would solve your issues?

Rep+ Haha I couldn't have described that better myself. I hope you get your CF issues worked out or at least improved a bit! Wish I had something to add.
You've probably seen this since you've been a member for almost a year but just FYI some ppl just like to post "Than switch to/ you should switch to [AMD/Nvidia]" comments rather than trying to help your current situation in any way. Edit: Yep 3rd post proves it. Sorry Eric but unlike you some people don't have $7000 to spend on their PC. I think OP would prefer if you kindly left or quit trying to push a 1k GPU & switching to Nvidia.

You will probably always notice a little stutter with 2 cards especially if you are looking for it. Nvidia isn't perfect either and thats why I'm selling my 670s to get a single Titan. A single 670 looked smoother to me at 35fps in Crysis3 compared to 60fps in SLI. I tried other games as well and decided its just to noticable for me. Amd is even worse when it comes to this issue, but they are working on a driver fix to hopefully get closer to Nvidia's level.

Cheers man.

Well i don't want to be to hasty but after trying out far cry 3 and not having much hope as i had tried driver sweeper with my 670 to try and resolve the stuttering issues i had with that without any success, it seems to be a hell of a lot better. I just tried far cry 3 with no fps limiter and it wasn't great but it did definitely go up in frame rate from what i was getting to around 120fps on medium settings with 2x aa, which was up from around the 80 i was previously getting, then i tried with v sync and it stuttered like crazy, disabled that and set the fps limiter to 60 and it run without a single issue other than a tiny bit of screen tearing which i can live with. Previously i had to set the fps limiter to 45 and it was still dropping below that at times and running like crap, so thank you very much!!! I will try a few more games and hope like hell it wasn't just a fluke lol. Thanks again!

Op do you have dual monitors?

I switched back to single gpu recently due to micro stutter. It was driving me insane. You could try changing the rendering method using radeon pro to see if it changes anything.
