Hes asking for help, and people are all screaming suspicious instead of attempting to post useful information, which is decidedly suspicious it self.

back on topic, you might try using dynamic vsync to see if it helps.

Honestly, no offense to you either man but i do have better things to do with my time than make up fake problems with my pc. The reason i "only" have 198 posts for the past year is because i try and solve the problems myself before asking for help (which is recommended in all forums) which you will see i tried to do this time as well if you read the original post.

Also if you are so suspicious go back and read some of my earlier threads, some about issues with a 670 and contemplating switching to a 7970, another about going to eyefinity, some of them over a few months old. Quite the elaborate plan just so i can create the trap for this awesome prank of mine. Seriously. figure it out. I have a problem i asked for help. It's as simple as that.

OP, FarCry3 is a not the best game to test for stutter (it's broken on both camps with dual-GPUs, but more on AMD's cards).
Test another game (BF3, TR, Most wanted with 4XSS....etc) to see if your driver uninstallation/reinstallation deliver a better experience than before.

Yeah, i'm trying out a few different games currently and i don't think it was the magic fix i was hoping for. It has improved it slightly as has using a fps limiter making my games playable again I THINK. All i was really asking was if there were any standard tweaks that crossfire users used that i was unaware of, and i figured here was the best place to ask. Genuinely Thank you to everyone that has helped , to the couple of people questioning the validity of my post i suggest you take a look at your own motives and beliefs. I have made it very clear i think, that i am a genuine user with a issue, if you are so jaded by the nvida fanboys that you can't decipher someone genuinely asking for help from someone trolling then maybe you shouldn't be posting in the first place. Thanks again.

am i missing something all my life, I cant see micro stutter. how do you look for it if you dont see it?
I abandoned 7950CF just because of the stutter. With a 144Hz screen it was awfull, I think that all games were smoother with only one card. Gone to 670 sli and Far cry 3 is totally smooth for example. Upset with AMD over this but don't have a problem recommending AMD for single card setup though.

If you don't see it, you don't see it. I don't really notice it myself either...

I somewhere read about some people just being more sensitive when it comes to microstuttering than others. It is nothing you can meassure with any tools or numbers, just a human eye/brain sort of thing. I can't complain about annoying microstuttering with my CF 7970 GHz Edition setup either. Controls are sometimes not as smooth as there seems to be a slight, yet noticeable input lag.
I guess if somebody happens to be really sensitive to this multi-GPU stuttering, he somehow is out of luck and his best bet would be a powerful single-card setup, maybe even a GeForce Titan or a heavily overclocked Radeon 7970 to get his best gaming experience.

In addition I don't know how I could help the OP any further. There is not much one can check for:
- Drivers, clean deinstallation, clean installation
- Crossfire Bridges installed correctly
- PSU powerful enough
- Both cards working ok in single-mode
- Clockrates of both cards synced and working normally
- Checking if temps are ok
- If nothing helps maybe doing a clean, fresh installation of Windows
