So... about 400 Kilobytes per second upload constant. Or 3.2 Megabits per second upload+download constant.
OR.... let's say 1/2 of that is youtube uploads, even though you said MOST. That's about 16.2 Gigabytes a day uploaded. Good compression, about 10.85 hours of video. A day.

OR... let's just go with 333 Hours of Full HD video a month?

What... THE HELL .............. is your youtube channel?

lying torrenter.

Wow. Jump down anyone's throat much?

Maybe he's uploading completely uncompressed video. Have you ever done a 1080P (1920x1200 for me actually) 60fps fraps recording? The 4GB file chunks are seriously 45 SECONDS of video. If he uploads a half-hour gameplay video, that's about 160GB right there.

I'll admit my error. lol. You make a valid point.

Though it doesn't make me wonder what he's doing. An active youtube channel from an OCN member requires watching.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not, but the individual's computer was simply infected with a virus. The browser was simply hijacked and manipulated to show the ads.

The individual should really stop browsing unsafe websites and everything will be fine. I've seen this on my friend's computers when I clean their crappy computers. Nothing out of ordinary.

In any event, I can't believe this kind of thing makes to headlines.

WOW. Read the source article please! I'm not even going to repeat why you're wrong, just read the source.

This is clearly not a case of the individual's computer being infected.

Good try, but you're forgetting Dropbox, steam game downloads, XBL game and update downloads, mod downloads (Especially stuff like Morrowind 2011) and many other things. 1TB is a bit high for me (Usually I hit ~700MiB or so) but considering I have 3-4 PCs that get various kinds of updates (Not just games, obviously) as well as my 360, 3DS, etc and streaming TV on top of that...Well, yeah. It adds up.
