AMD Athlon II 270 Bottleneck GTX 560?

Thread Starter
Hey guys, i'm new around here, but I have a question. I recently bought a GTX 560 2 GB and a AMD Athlon X2 270 3.4 GHZ (NOT OC)
I've heard that the Athlon may bottleneck my GTX 560,I wanna hear what you guys think and if it does bottleneck, what can I do for it not to.

The most reliable thing you can do is run a few benchmarks and compare to systems that have beefier components and the same GPU. If you're getting significantly lower scores, your platform may be holding you back a bit.

I'd imagine you'd have a nice upgrade to quad/hex if you play games that are known to be threaded beyond 2 threads. The extra CPU cores would take care of the tasks that your current CPU is currently juggling.
