First build!

Thread Starter
I got this rig off of a friend of mine who upgraded. I got a 600t case, a i7 930, x58-ud3r mother board, 6GB of Kingston ram and other peripherals.
I upgraded multiple things. Starting with the cpu cooler. I went to a Zalman. Then I managed to acquire a pair of second hand 680s ftw cards. With new found graphic power, the hard drive became too small. A quick trip to Frys and there's a Samsung 840 pro in there.
After about a week I decided to water cool the cpu and 680s.
Now it's time to overclock!

I know! But I figure I learn what I can on an older i7 before blowing up a new one.
By the way it's up to 3.8 without much of an issue.
