Ok, the store I'm looking to buy a bunch of parts off soon, has this card in stock.

Here: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-xfx-radeon-hd-7950-dd-5000mhz-gddr5-gpu-800mhz-dvi-dvi-hdmi-mdp-pluscrossfire-offer

I was looking at spending a bit more and getting something a little more OC friendly (better / quieter cooler) but I noticed that they've added this to the descripton : Please note - This card now requires 1 x 6 pin PCI-E power and 1 x 8 pin PCI-E power

Now I am right in assuming they are now using a 7970 PCB for this card? and if so, is it worth going for it, seeing as the 7950 BE is still listed as normal? (with a 6 + 6 pin requirement)

Just thought I'd ask peoples view / opinion to 'aid' my decision tongue.gif

Regards in advance!
