Samsung 32 Inch LCD questions

Thread Starter
Hello! I have a Samsung 32 Inch LCD 720P TV LN32C350D1D and I have some questions about resolutions.

I currently use a VGA connection with a resolution of 1360x768 and I was wondering if I would be able to use a HDMI cable that I have in my 360 and increase my resolution. The native resolution is 1360x760, but in the manual it says it can go up to 1080p (even though it says its a 720p tv) O.o it goes up to 1080p on my 360 so I figured why not for the pc?

So I did, and put my resolution to 1080p, everything became all small and blurry also going off the the screen cutting off my start bar at first, until switching the tv settings to screen fit, but everything was still blurry, nothing like the crisp look on my 360.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something?
Has anyone else had this problem?

Any insight would be appreciated rolleyes.gif

You going to be stuck at 720p since it is a 720p tv. Even though your Xbox is saying it is doing 1080, that is probably Interlaced (1080i). HDMI or VGA shouldn't make a difference in your situation unfortunately.

Alrighty, Does 1080i and 1080P make a difference? the manual says it supports up to 1080p and I can set my resolution to it but it seems blurry or not crisp? here are SS of my native and set at 1080p to show you what im looking at~
Native: 1360 x 768

And 1080P

am I stuck at 1360 or is there something I'm missing?
