Powercolor 7870 Myst -- 1200Mhz 100% Stable at stock voltage of 1.188.

It is less than a week old. I can't handle the heat in crossfire so I'd like to sell one. At 1200Mhz Core this thing is a monster even at 2560x1440

Edit: It has the most stable .28 BIOS

What is the ASIC quality for the cards? My 67.6% card overclocks better than my 58.2%

They're $230 brand new here in Australia second hand I'd say $180, and that's if you can find someone who wants a card that goes to 80C and sounds like an RC plane lol.
It is relevant. If you overclock it, it's pretty much as fast as a 7970 non ghz edition for 200$. It only gets that hot in CFX, mine gets to about 74C max in heavy gaming and it's not super loud, though it is pretty audible.

My CF won't go above 80c (top card) when I play games. My maximum temperature was 82c (top card) with benchmarks.
I normally get mid 70c when playing games in crossfire. Mine is set up auto fan too and sound isn't so bad to me. Compare to my old gtx 480 reference, it's very quiet lol. My room temperature isn't great either.

Hey Guys can i just set those settings in afterburner ? Or do i have to set it slowly ?
Because i also owned the 7870 Myst and i want to overclock it at 1200 MHz.
You'll need to improve cooling dramatically if you hope to run it at 1200 for anything more than benchmarks.

But yes, you can certainly set it to whatever you want just for testing. Just be sure to set it back to 1150, or lower, after you're done.

I have amazing cooling, and can hit 1240/1630 for benching, but I still only run mine with 1150/1550 as my 24/7 settings.

But i dont want to benchmark, i just want to play games.
So on what should i set it if i want to have a stable and fast card ?
1100 Mhz ?

Stock cooling? Then I would set it for 1100/1500, +10 power limit, and leave the voltage alone. You may also want to customize the fan curve to your liking.

What program are you using to overclock? (CCC, Afterburner Beta10, or Trixx)
