Tried SpeedFan but no luck so far. I'm not sure if it is compatible with Win8 64bit seeing the platform design is pretty old

I'm not too desperate about it, so would like to keep it on software level. Thanks for proposed solution though biggrin.gif

Yes, but did you also realize that he posted that after I gave my recommendation?

If speedfan is giving you that much of an issue doylls idea about using the GPU PWM signal would probably be the next thing. If youre good with a soldering iron it wouldnt be tough to build that adapter at all.
