Dominator GT or platinum? - Page 2

Well im looking for something that will look good on an ROG board since thats probably what i will end up getting. MSI seems to have some good things going for them lately, but I had far to many problems in the past to go with them again. Gigabyte would be my second choice but from what I hear, their x79 boards have had a lot of issues. If this is not still the case, I would love to know because I would rather have a blue and white build than a black and red, and the up4/ud5 would fit that perfectly.

Best advice i can give you is stop worrying how good its going to look on a motherboard and get something that's good in the price/performance department. Dominators are for people who are going to push them past the 1.70v. Are you willing to do that?

Cas 9 2133's. They would look great on a rog board

very willing to push things to the limit. my crappy fx-6100 was pushed to 5HGz at 1.6v for the last multithreaded mayhem. i just want to make sure i have good equipment when it comes to pushing limits.
