Cooler Master USA Rep looking for your feedback on line of CM Storm gaming mice! - Page 27

Seriously though, Sensei/IMO/FK shaped Spawn. The large ambidextrous mouse choices are basically flawed sensor or no customization.

With Spawn and Xornet's shape, you have absolutely nailed it. I received my Xornet yesterday and the shape of the mouse is the best I've tried ever in my 20 years of computer use. My hand integrates with the mouse. You should made that same shape for 100 years and only upgrade the internals, cord, firmwares and other improvements. Maybe 2 different sizes of that same shape. I would think that someone with bigger hands than me would like it a little bigger.

Would have bought Spawn but I read this thread and found there is some bug that's causing computer lag. Hope you can repair that too.

When some new sensor better than 3090 comes out. New same shaped mouse with that sensor is what you need to make.

I like your profile pic, first mouse I bought myself back in the days...

Also the lag on the Spawn was fixe lately with a new FW update.

Now what they need to do for an updated version of the Spawn is to change some internals and make its A3090 perform equally good as the Roccat Savu. If CM manages that it's a 100% buy.

Owner of three Spawns. All either 2 years old already or coming close.

Great mice, set at 1,000Hz polling rate and 1,800DPI and ignored everything else.
Sensor nearly perfect, shape is 100% perfect for a person with small hands like me. Its great as a palm mouse for hands my size.

Don't see the high CPU issue but the driver could use some tweaking so that it works when Chrome is running.

Cord needs to be less stiff, mouse feet are great, button quality is great.
I just wish you'd bring back the feels of the original Spawn scroller. That thing feels totally different from the new batches.

Yeah, that was my first gaming mice back in the Action Quake 2 days.

Great that Spawn's bug is fixed. Updated Spawn is 100% buy for me too. This shape is just awesome.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before (got lazy and didn't read all the pages) but ...

I own the Z3Ro-G ... AN it is by far the worst mouse I have ever used ...

I know that CM fixed the sensor issue with the SA2 but I got the zero-g just before the SA2 became available in my country ...

The side buttons feel to hard to me, maybe its the way I grip the mouse (claw grip) but every time I need to press the side buttons during a heavy firefight, etc, it throws my aiming way out cause I need to put that much extra pressure (I play max sense and it requires light buttons)

Also regarding buttons, the dpi buttons are really cheap and rattle like mad just from my speakers

My mouse after about a year has already been replaced once due to the screen failing and then the replacement has started double clicking with almost every other click.

The center skate around the laser was also terrible (all the skates feel cheap) but the middle skate was causing my mouse to track incorrectly so I have removed it.

The metal plate on the mouse is also a bad idea cause hands sweat, needless to say mine looks gaudy and needs to be cleaned (sanded) monthly and the coating rubs off way to easily

I know this is asking about mice but regarding the QUICK FIRE Rapid ... ... I have a KB from the left alt issue batch and cause I am not from the US CM refuses to help me other than telling me to contact my reseller (which helped ****all) ...

If CM is going to be an international company, at least offer proper international support ? ... and replace parts that break (like sending a free switch which I doubt will make CM bankrupt)

And afaik there are no better sensors coming up in the near future... ok, maybe if they are able to fix the problems with the 9500/9800, but it doesn't look like avago cares enough to fix them or isn't able to.

The trouble with the 3090 in the Spawn is the LOD. The firmwares are always this annoying tradeoff between LOD and tracking speed. Eventually I just settled on one that gave me a crappy LOD but high tracking speed and put a piece of electrical tape over half the sensor to fix the LOD. This leads me to believe that the solution is one of physical/optical implementation, not necessarily of improving the sensor's firmware or hardware.

That is how the world works. If you don't have enough light how is the camera going to see the surface?

You're absolutely right -- It's a compromise that we've tried to provide firmware options for. If you aren't experiencing CPU lag, you can go back to older firmware versions to get more LOD.

I have Spawn (died after hard gaming:) and Xornet.
Xornet is perfect mouse!
In FW 7x LOD is nice (~1 CD on QcK Heavy).
But, Xornet have to ability to enable/disable DPI buttons!
Because in game players may randomly press them!
If it possible CM can use for this middle button and buttons 4 and 5 In new FWs.
Do this like switch.
