Yet another fan?

Thread Starter
I am currently running two fans. One in front and then one on the back for the exhaust. Is if worth it to buy another for the side as another intake fan? Anyone do this at note a major temperature change?

Yeah, id recommend you add a side intake, without mine, my cpu rises like at least 4*C, so you should notice a drop in temps.

A side intake always helps alot.

Another way is to add two fans to the back to blow air out of the case (if you can mount 2 fans) and add a fan in front of your HD (If you have space) and you'll see your temps drop quite a bit.

Add the one on the side blowing in. If you can, get a Duct for it so it drops the cold air right on your CPU

Perfect. The case I have came with a duct for it. I already have a 120mm on the back but can't fit another. I considered a top fan but that means cutting the case. So for now guess I will just go with the 80mm on the side.

Just as some advice, I added a side intake just above where my CPU is, I have a Big Typhoon, and the case fan was directly above my Big Typhoon, when I turned it on, my CPU temp raised 5c, and when I turned it off, it went back to normal, so just watch where the airflow goes.!!!!
