I have to agree with Alatar, sandy did high overclocks easily & was a great benching chip, but boring to overclock. It literally took 10 minutes with an air cooler to see how the chip would overclock to, & then it was done. No amount of voltage or cooling would make it go higher.
This was where I started buying my first AMD chips, they didn't benchmark as well, but they were fun to play with & overclock.
It does kinda look like Haswell will have something for everyone. I do hope the air & water coolers can get more out of them than Ivy, it's a better chip than sandy but so many people were disappoint because of temps...
