Yeah, right now im running straight distilled, and I have a Nickel/Acetal GTX680 EK block, and a Black Ice X flow rad that has copper tubing inside Im pretty sure, and haven't noticed any issues. Water is still clear as ever.

"without a problem" for a short duration of time is fine, but the fact is slowly but surely the metals are degrading regardless if they use coolant or water

Asking someone to go only one metal in watercooling is alittle bit ridiculous.

All radiators chambers are made of either copper or brass, or aluminium of which you are screwed. There is no nickel radiators.

Fittings are made of silver plated brass, chrome plated brass, nickel plated brass and the very rare pure copper fittings.

Waterblocks are made of nickel plated copper or pure copper.

So that means that if someone wants to go watercooling according to your advice, he has to go all copper because that is the only possible route.
Everyone would only be doing copper builds??? Then why would watercooling manufacturers make anything besides copper products?

People have been mixing metals in watercooling ever since it started. You would think we would know a thing or 2 about galvanic corrosion.
